    We are looking for a positive, energetic, self-motivated individual to work with children with autism in their home and the community. You will receive ongoing training and supervision from a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and will be teaching the children language, play, social, independence and academic skills using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis.

    Responsibilities include working 1:1 with the children in the home and community and taking data on multiple program targets, communicating with supervisors and attending team meetings.

    BCABA and BCBA supervision are a possibility for the right candidate.

    Qualifications: A successful applicant MUST
    -Have a current criminal record check (or be willing to complete one)
    -Reliable transportation (car is preferred)
    -20 years or older
    -Experience with young children, preferably special needs
    -Ability to take and apply constructive feedback
    -Able to multi-task fluently
    -Able to work independently as well as part of a team
    -Be able to commit to a minimum of 1 years (longer is preferred)

    This is a great job for anyone who is looking to pursue education, special education, psychology, occupational therapy and/or speech therapy. Location specific times/days are below. Preference will be given to candidates who are interested in working with multiple families. Candidates must be available for at least 2-3 days/week (2 hour sessions)

    Lower Londsale: (Summer) Monday-Fri mornings: (Sept-June) 3:30-5:30 p.m

    Upper Lonsdale/Grand Blvd: (Summer) Mon-Fri day time (times could be flexible): (Sept-June) 3:30 p.m-5:30 p.m

    Pay: $15-20/hr D.O.E

    We are looking for a positive, energetic, self-motivated individual to join our team and work with a sweet 5 year old child with autism in his home, in the community and as his Support Worker at school (ABA Support Worker).

    You will receive initial and ongoing training and supervision from a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and will be teaching the child communication skills, functional play and fine and gross motor skills using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis.

    This student is going to Kindergarten in Sept and we are looking for someone to start doing home ABA sessions now and then transition with him to Kindergarten in Sept in the Surrey School District for full time hours. You will have to apply for the school district (or already be employed by them)

    Responsibilities include working 1:1 with the child in the home and community and taking data on multiple program targets, communicating with supervisors. In September, responsibilities will be supporting the student in his school environment, and continuing at least 1 session/week at home after school (could be more). Applicants must be active and physically able to support the student (he has gross motor delays and requires physical support/prompting).

    LANGLEY, BC:

    We are looking to hire a MOTIVATED, and ENERGETIC person to work as a Behavioural Interventionist with a 5 year old child

    Work will include following the behavioural plan of intervention, which includes language, academic, social/communication, and play goals. Programming is based in Verbal Behaviour.

    You will be trained and supervised by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and will work at least 2 sessions per week, consisting of 2 hours each (4 hours/week). Additional clients/ hours within the Surrey/Langley area are also a possibility.

    We are looking for someone to start training as soon as possible! In the summer, session times can be during the day, and in September, sessions will be 3-5 p.m.

    For the right individual, formal supervision is possible (for BCBA/BCaBA hours)

    Applicants Must:
    -Be extremely proficient in English
    -20 years or older
    -Have experience with young children, preferably children with special needs
    -Have already or be willing to complete a criminal record check
    -Have reliable transportation
    -Be motivated and enthusiastic
    -Be active
    -Commit to 1+ years

    Experienced applicants are encouraged to apply, but this job is great experience for anyone wanting to work in the fields of psychology, applied behaviour analysis, speech language therapy, education, etc. Anyone with experience with children (and children with special needs), please apply!

    Successful candidates will be motivated, self-starters who want to learn and grow in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis. Candidates must be able to commit to working with the child for at least 1 year and be extremely proficient in the English language.

    Wage is based on experience.
